As the agency has grown over the years, we are proud to say that so has our own in house library! Many families are surprised to learn just how extensive our collection is. What was once just a handful of children’s books has grown into a vast collection of resources on various adoption-related topics. We have a large selection of books on Adoptive Parenting, Pregnancy, Infertility, Transracial Adoption, Open Adoption, Special Needs and Older Child Adoption and much, much more.
“We read to know that we are not alone.”
― William Nicholson
Whether you are already in the trenches of parenting or looking to fill the agony of “the wait”, immersing yourself in adoption literature is always a positive experience. In our library, you will find novels in which adoption is subtly woven into the storylines to real life self helps books on the “How To’s” of the process. Or maybe you are a birthparent struggling with grief or trying to find your place in an open adoption. Whatever your interest is, we have something for everyone. The library is here for your browsing and borrowing, so stop in some time and take a look. And after you have read one of our books, we’d love to hear your review of it!
You can find a small sampling of our adoption based collection in the Resource section of our website.
Interested in making a donation? We are always looking to fill our shelves with new, adoption related literature. Do you have a favorite book you would like to share with us? Donating a book to be shared with our library can be a wonderful way to give back. Or how about commemorating your child’s birthday with a gift that can be shared with other families.
To donate a new or gently used book, feel free to stop by one of our local offices or mail to:
