I know New York City can be daunting to some but to me it feels more like a neighborhood with schools, outdoor parks and tons of families of all types! Lucky for me I live right in between Central Park and Riverside Park along the Hudson River.
My home is bright, quiet and has 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a den, dining room and an open kitchen. There is a small balcony and I try to grow plants but I haven't quite earned my green thumb yet. But the big draw is the aquarium, it's everyone's favorite activity in the apartment. Part of my building is connected to a private park with basket ball courts and a jungle. Sometimes on the weekend the kids have pick up game of football or baseball and kids of all ages can play.
I don't have a huge family but we are all very close and most live nearby. I have an older bother who is married and he has 3 kids that are already married as well with kids of their own! The latest count includes 7 little ones between the ages of 5 months and 9 years old....that's a lot of cousins! Each of my little nieces and nephews have their own unique personalities and I try to find the things that each of them like. So far I discovered I can make them happy with music, food, playing sports or playing legos. Lucky, I like all those things too!
