There are so many things I am looking forward to, it is hard to chose just one. I cannot wait for bedtime stories and morning snuggles.
Hello! First of all, I wanted to take the time to thank you for viewing my profile. I cannot thank you enough for making the loving and courageous decision of adoption. Words cannot express the love, respect and gratitude I have for you in making this choice.
I live in a suburb of Syracuse, NY with my dog Jency. Many of my family members live close by. I have many roles in my life; daughter, sister, aunt, Godmother, friend, teacher, mentor....The role that I am hoping to fill soon is mother. I have always wanted to be a mother. After years of struggling with infertility and miscarriages, I realized that I was meant to me a mother through adoption. I have had the joy of watching my friends and family members start their families and I am eager and excited to begin that journey myself.
I am lucky that I was a able to turn my passion into my career. I have been a teacher for 15 years, 13 of those years as a special education teacher. I have taught Pre-K through 8th grade. Currently I am teaching 6th-8th grade. I feel very lucky that I am able to say that I love my job. Helping my students learn and grow through the years continues to be a blessing and wonderful adventure.
