Welcome

Thanks for looking at our profile. Our philosophy on life is to live each day to the fullest with kindness and love. We are ready and excited to welcome a child into our hearts and home and to share our life philosophy. We tend to keep busy as we like to experience as many things as possible. We travel to visit our families and to see new places each year. We also explore the city where we live, visiting art museums, science centers, historic sites, the zoo and parks. We enjoy going to movies, plays and concerts, but also like to participate in outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and gardening. We volunteer at our community center as well. Our dream is to share our adventures with our future children, providing them many opportunities to explore all that life has to offer.

We were married on October 15, 2011 and have been together for 10 years. Family is really important to us. We both come from awesome, fun, loving and supportive families who are ready to welcome our children. We also have amazing friends that support us and love us like family. They are basically our "framily"!

Why We Want to Adopt

From a very young age, Jamie imagined adopting children. She has an amazing ability to bond with children, and many people comment on her maternal abilities. Alice loves being around children, probably because she is just a big kid herself.

A few years after we began dating, we knew that we both wanted children. After exploring both adoption and fertility, we decided to try fertility first, believing that Jamie's goal to adopt would happen with our second child. After several years of pursuing fertility treatments we discovered that we are not fertile--we simply can not have biological children. We quickly turned our efforts to adoption, and are excited about the possibility of bringing children into our family.
