April is a Licensed Social Worker and Adoption Assessor in the state of Ohio with over 19 years of experience working with children and families.

Her professional career has included many experiences including working with Child Welfare as well as working as an outpatient therapist with children and families. In addition to her work with Adoption STAR, April is currently working in schools as a mental health therapist. Her passions are introducing children to Play Therapy and assisting families in their adoption process.

April lives with her husband and two daughters. She loves to travel, quilt, and spend time with her family.
