I Remember – In Loving Memory of Andrew

It was March 2003 and Andrew was so excited to learn he was going to be a big brother and even more excited to know he was getting a baby sister. He had an opportunity to share his excitement through a school assignment. As Andrew’s school assignment depicts, he was overjoyed to learn the exciting news that their family was going to Adoption STAR to meet his new sister. Andrew wrote a poem entitled “I Remember” and wrote about one of the greatest moments of his life – falling in love with his new sister. Sadly, seven years later, on July 3, 2010, Andrew passed away at the age of 19. He remains the cherished son of Melissa and Allen and loving brother of Emily. Andrew was an incredible big brother from the moment he met Emily and remains her shining star everyday. Andrew, we remember you today and always.    ]]>
