Our International Adoption Coordinator Megan Montgomery suggests adoptive parents who have adopted from Eastern Europe take part in a study. She shares this email from Olag Verboyaya from Louisiana State University School of Social Work.
Louisiana State University School of Social Work is asking for your help to participate in a study that aims to investigate and analyze cultural self-identification of children adopted from Eastern Europe.
We have completed a preliminary study and are now expanding our data by adding minors 13-18 years of age. The study has been approved by the IRB (#3393). If your or your children were adopted from Eastern Europe, you are greatly encouraged to participate!
SURVEY: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/C8DY77L
Attention!!!: If or your children are under 18 years of age, we will need parental consent. The link to sign a consent form is provided below. The connect must be signed by a parent or a legal guardian of a minor. The response will not count without the consent if a child is under 18 years old. A copy of the signed consent will be sent to the parent or a legal guardian.

We greatly appreciate your support in helping with the Study. Please SEND THIS INFORMATION to other adoptees from Eastern Europe that you know. The more participants we have, the more accurate the will be the results.
Thank you Very much!
